My first attempt

This is going to be my first attempt of creating the human skeleton in the and abstract form. i want to show verry fine detail in the ribs whilst the outside is all rocky and abstract.

I have created the design, i like it but i am not happy with it. i want to get a more abstract affect and make it look like the bones live in the rock not in a human form. i want it to look as if it has been excavated. so i will attempt to try and create a different texture on the outside and make it look more abstract. the reason i want the skeleton in the rock is because i wanted i to look like it had lived ad dies in the rock with this sculpture i cant see it being how i want it to be as the outside is in the shape of the human form to, its stating the obvious.

Again i have created a sculpture but it still is in the shape of a human form i need to get out of my comfort zone and make the abstract figures i want and need to put in the exhibition what i like about my piece of work is the texture on the outside i want to use this in the next sculpture i make. The other down fall about these two sculptures is that i forgot to hollow them out so even if they were to go the the exhibition i couldn't of put them in anyway as they couldn't of been fired.
